Product terms & risk disclosure
Last updated: July 2026. Please read this page before opening an account — accepting it is a required step of onboarding.
1. What TradeAgent is
TradeAgent is a custodial trading platform. You open an account, deposit supported assets, and place your own leveraged trades on the supported markets. Optional copilots analyse markets and your account: they may propose actions, alert you, or veto a proposal on risk grounds — they never place, modify or close an order. Every order is placed by you. Every account balance is tracked entry by entry and reconciled against confirmed deposit activity.
TradeAgent is an early-stage product (MVP). Features, supported networks and assets may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn.
2. Custody — how your deposits are held
Deposits are made to a deposit address that the platform assigns to your account automatically. You do not need — and are not asked for — a wallet application, browser extension, private key or seed phrase. Never share a private key or seed phrase with anyone claiming to act for TradeAgent; we will never ask for one.
Deposited funds are held in platform-controlled wallets and may be pooled and managed operationally. Your balance is credited once the deposit is confirmed on the blockchain and recorded in the ledger. Custodial holding means you rely on the platform’s operational and security practices; it is not self-custody.
3. Copilots — analysis only
Copilots are analysis tools. They read market data and your account, and may propose actions, alert you, or veto a proposal on risk grounds. They never execute: no copilot places, modifies or closes an order, and no copilot touches your balance. Acting on a proposal — or ignoring it — is your decision alone, and following an analysis never eliminates market risk.
Trading fees are charged per order, at the rate displayed in the order ticket before you confirm. There are no fees conditioned on profits, and no fee is charged for enabling or consulting a copilot.
4. Risk disclosure
Crypto-assets are volatile. The value of your deposits and positions can go down as well as up, and you can lose the entire amount you deposit. Past performance does not predict future results, and nothing in the product is a promise, projection or guarantee of returns.
Additional risks include: smart-contract failures, blockchain reorganizations or congestion, oracle and market-data errors, stablecoin de-pegging, counterparty and custody risk, operational outages, and regulatory change. Any of these can result in partial or total loss, delayed withdrawals, or suspended service.
Deposit only what you can afford to lose.
5. No advice
Nothing on this platform — including agent descriptions, statistics, or notifications — is investment, legal, accounting or tax advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether using the platform is appropriate for your situation, and for your own tax and reporting obligations.
6. Eligibility and account
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to use crypto-asset services there. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts to comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect the platform and its users.
7. Service availability and changes
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features — including deposits, withdrawals, specific networks, assets, or agents — where operationally or legally required. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page.
